About this section

Live rams and ewes are offered here, fat-tailed, meat and pedigree alike. Every advert comes from the owner, so the card holds what a buyer checks on inspection: weight in kilograms, age, breed, province and pictures. The filter column narrows the results to one breed, a weight range or a single province, and what you find can be lined up by price. Price and viewing are settled with the keeper directly, through the Message the seller button on the advert. The site charges nothing for a deal and stays out of the payment.

How do I buy a ram here?

Open the card, read the weight, the age and the photos, then write to the keeper straight from the advert. The site takes no money for the deal and never handles the payment, so the terms are yours to agree.

How heavy is a grown ram?

In fat-tailed breeds such as Hissar and Edilbay a grown ram usually weighs 90 to 140 kg and a ewe 70 to 90 kg. Local Jaydari and meat-wool breeds are lighter. The exact weight of each animal is stated on its card.

What should I check before buying?

Watch how the animal moves, look at hooves, eyes and fleece, judge the condition, and read the teeth for age. Ask the keeper about vaccinations and parasite treatment; some sellers put that on the card already.

How does Hissar differ from Edilbay?

Both are fat-tailed meat breeds. Hissar is the larger of the two and carries more fat in the tail, while Edilbay copes better on poor pasture and puts on weight earlier. Choose by which of those you need more.

Can delivery be arranged?

Yes, transport is ordered separately: our Telegram bot takes the request and carriers answer with a price and a date. What it costs depends on the distance and on how many head are moving.
