About this section
Feed for sheep, goats and cattle is traded here by farms, mills and dealers across Uzbekistan. Every listing names the product, the unit it ships in and the size of the lot: sacks, bales or tonnes. Judge offers on the cost of one tonne and on nutrition rather than on what a single sack costs, since cheap material of poor quality ends up dearer per feeding day. The loading region is shown in the card, because haulage over long distances shifts the final figure more than any discount does.
How much hay does a ewe need for winter?
Around 1.5 to 2 kg per head a day, which is roughly 250 to 350 kg per ewe over the housed period. The exact figure depends on hay quality, pregnancy and whether concentrates and succulent feed are also given.
What separates compound feed from plain grain?
Grain is a single ingredient, while compound feed is a finished mix with calculated protein, minerals and vitamins. On grain alone an animal falls short of protein and minerals, so it is usually paired with cake and additives.
How do you order feed by the lot?
Message the seller from the listing and settle the volume, the price per tonne and the loading. If nobody is offering the volume you need, post a buyer request and sellers will answer it themselves.
