About this section
Eggs from farms and household yards: hen, quail, duck, goose, turkey and ostrich. The first thing that separates two offers is the kind, because table eggs go to the kitchen while hatching eggs go into an incubator, and they are priced quite differently. Counting is by the piece, and larger lots state the smallest shipment on offer, whether that is a dozen, a tray or a box. Province sits next to price in the filter for a reason, since eggs break on long roads.
How do hatching eggs differ from table eggs?
Hatching eggs come from a breeding flock kept with a male and are stored to rules, because a chick has to come out of them. Table eggs will not hatch. The kind is stated on the card and can be filtered.
What hatch rate should I expect?
The site promises none. It depends on the age of the flock, how long the eggs have been stored, how they travelled and how your incubator is run. Ask the seller for the collection date and the transport conditions.
How should eggs be stored before setting?
Cool, out of draughts, blunt end up, turned once a day. The longer they wait the fewer will hatch, so buyers take fresh eggs and set them within the week.
Can carriage be arranged?
Yes, it is ordered separately through our Telegram bot. Tell the carrier the load is fragile and agree on packaging, because a tray and a box save more eggs than careful driving does.
